Fast-track Growth What
better way to kick off UNLV Magazine’s new Timeline section than
with these dramatic aerial shots of the campus? Opened
in January 2001, the library saw 1.1 million visitors in its first year.
This fall, the William S. Boyd School of Law moved into its permanent
home on the main campus. UNLV also recently acquired its first satellite
campus on Charleston Boulevard, near Interstate 15. The 185,000 square
feet of space at the Shadow Lane campus is being refurbished to house
UNLV’s Biotechnology Center, Cancer Institute, and School of Dentistry,
which welcomed its first class in August. |
