The Boyd School of
Law hit another milestone in the fall with its move to its permanent home
on campus. The old library buildings were renovated to accommodate the
law school’s classrooms and offices as well as the 225,000-volume
Wiener-Rogers Law Library.
The 67,030-square-foot building pictured here was renamed the James E.
Rogers Center for Administration and Justice in honor of the local lawyer,
businessman, and philanthropist. The connecting 57,700-square-foot round
building was renamed William S. Boyd Hall in honor of the school’s
namesake patron.
The law school received full accreditation from the American Bar Association
in February, the earliest time possible under ABA guidelines.
The Lied Library’s special collections department houses a vast
