Millions of law enforcement and emergency personnel need to be trained to combat terrorism. A specialized course in the division of educational outreach trains crisis specialist to teach what they know to rank-and-file police officers, firefighters, and emergency personnel. Sixty specialists completed the pilot course. The institute also offers training for terrorism awareness tailored to the needs of private sector clients.
